Summer (December to early March)

Autumn (late March to mid May)
The beauty of Lake Wanaka is extraordinary in the Autumn. A
great opportunity to lie by the fire and watch the leaves change
colour.
Winter (June to August)
Wanaka really comes alive during winter. There are a multitude
of skifields around Wanaka and don't forget Queenstown is only an
hour away. This is a fantastic time of year to visit Wanaka!
Spring (September to November)
This is a beautiful and peaceful time of year in the Southern
Lakes district. A great to visit vineyards, go tramping in the nearby
hills and mountains or experience the exhilarating flightseeing
over the region.
